Prim and Pamper

As predicted, this week has been so busy.  I'm only halfway through it, and I'm already completely stressed out and exhausted.  I'm starting to lose motivation and patience, and unfortunately I've been short with the people around me.  I hate that.  I was venting all of this to a close friend of mine, and she suggested that I make sure to take a break at the end of the week.  I didn't think about it before, but that's actually a great idea for a couple reasons.

First of all, I'm not the kind of woman whoever takes time to relax and pamper myself.  I usually just go, go, go until I can't go anymore and just break down physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  If I would just take the time to de-stress, I could avoid that break down.  Secondly, I think that setting that goal would help my motivation issues.  Lastly, it would be a great opportunity to use this that I got for my birthday last year :).

This Sunday is going to be my prim and pamper day to relax and get back to normal.  I'm going to take a long, hot bath, read some of a book I've been wanting to get into for a while, and drink a cup of this.  Then I'm going to put on my favorite pair of Cruel Girl jeans and pack up one of my Kata backpacks and take a mini-hike to my favorite spot to just sit in awe of the beauty of my surroundings.  My husband has even offered to make me my favorite dinner.  It's going to be a wonderful day!
