[Beta 1z2] Weapon Choices in Unit Design

When designing a unit, there are several strange things that occur.

1.) Club and staff have same attributes, but staff costs more than club (maybe a balance issue that hasn't been looked at yet, but thought I would point it out)

 

 

 

2.)  When you click on "new" button, the soldier that gets created comes with a sword (even though only club and staff show up as weapon choices).  And he gets it for free.....cost of unit = zero.  Overall, this unit has better stats than the basoc starting peasant, but with no cost!

I wondered about this too, but figured it's just part of the early beta, ie. they'll tweak it later when the build is more stable and there's time for such things. :)

Yeah the tweaking of equipment is for after we have the game stable enough to even play through on the majority of peoples computers.

 

At least thats my assumption.

The second thing seems like a real bug, not just a numbers issue. It shouldn't happen at all.

I'd suggest reporting it.

There is no Beta 1Z3 out. Yet.

yep - my mistake - I "prematurely" labeled this with the upcoming release code!
