[1Z1][.299][Crash] Game hangs on loading screen

Testing beta version .299:

After choosing to load a game, which had previously crashed, the most recent loading process seems to freeze.

 

I came across this problem first when I had the game at full screen and I had to manually power off my computer to shut the program down. The game ran again for several turns before crashing and would load maybe 3 to 5 more times. The loading process would hang after having loaded so many times.

 

I left the game running over night to see if it would ever finish loading, which did not happen.:

Saved games from previous betas won't work.

I came across this problem with version .299 of the beta, I just recently installed this game and haven't had the chance to use older saved games from previous betas, forgive me if I've misunderstood.
