Moddability of the AI

Game AI is always such a huge discussion point, even when it is well done.  So my hope is that Elemental will provide modders the ability to interact with the AI in more obvious ways than what a lot of 'balance' mods try to fix.

I'm curious as to how possible this is and if it's interesting to the devs to work it in.

Theres actually quite a few posts on this subject. The plan is for the Kumquat engine (the backend of E:WOM) to allow for vastly different types of games - if you can't modify the AI, than this is impossible.... so by definition, the AI has to be modable - and this has been confirmed by Kermit the Frog Frogboy

Can you either point me to one of those posts, or explain in greater detail?

I don't see how 'vastly different games' implies AI moddability.

Elemental is a Turn Based Strategy game. The plan is that using Elemental modding capabilities, you could create an RPG (like Frogboy plans to do), an RTS...
