[Bug/Graphics][0.298] No background or buttons in menu, yet again

I updated Elemental from the prior beta, in which the problem stated in this thread had been solved, and it kept crashing either in the "appearance" tab of the sovereign creation or creating the world.

So I uninstalled and reinstalled Elemental, and my old problem resurfaced. Again, I have no buttons to click so essentially I can´t do anything but start a game and move around. But on the plus side, it no longer crashes creating the world or in the appearance tab.

I solved the problem by editing prefs.ini in My Games/Elemental. Although I tweaked various parameters, I do suspect that setting RegenerateTextureAtlas to 1 made the trick.

Have a look here, it might be the same issue. A dev gave a fix, they would certainly like to know if it is the same unsquashed bug
