Might have ordered game twice but not sure

I ordered the limited edition game yesterday. I dont remember whether I ordered the ordinary edition as well a few months ago as there seems to be no way to check from impulse itself.

 

Anyway i only want the limited edition I ordered yesterday. Is there a way i can find out whether I ordered it twice? If I did also order a normal edition I dont want it I just want the limited one.

I think the reason im confused is because i think I tried to pre order the normal edition several months ago at the same time as I bought a couple of other games. The other games were acknowledged and downloaded but the elemental edition was never mentioned in any of the automated emails.

The limted edition i bought yesterday did receive acknowledgement mails though.

If you didn't receive any confirmation E-Mail from Stardock, then it's a relatively safe guess that it didn't go through or you didn't order it the first time...  Buuuuuut, this is money we're talking about, so that does nothing to alleviate the worries you may have about spending 50 dollars too many for a game you've already paid for.

Best thing you can do is call Stardock Customer Support first thing in the morning and see if they can help you.

Edit:  Make sure to make it clear, in the case you -did- order twice, that it's the Limited Edition you want and not the original.  Ya can't be too safe.  =P

Well, if you have ordered few month ago (before beta 1G which was near the end of february), you should have a serial key and be able to download beta 1G (don't forget to enable pre-release display) through Impulse

Thanks :) I believe it didnt go through the first time as I certainly never did receive a serial code or have any beta invites. I did get an email with the limited edition purchase. Hopefully I will get a serial code too since I would like to try the beta.

I believe we just added more people to the beta today, so make sure you have the 'Show pre-release versions' option selected (it's in the main Impulse menu (blue button, upper left)), and it should show up.  If it still doesn't, and restarting Impulse doesn't help, give [email protected] a shout.
