Nightly Builds?

Have you guys thought of releasing nightly builds instead of monthly similar to what VLC, webkit, mozilla do for testing purposes?  I'm sure you guys must be posting updates to your servers to share internally. Are you willing to share that with the beta community, letting us download at "our own risk" with the occasional release of a more stable beta build for those who prefer that route?  Just a thought.

I take it you aren't a programmer. A full, working version probably only gets put together and compiled once a week, if that. I think you underestimate how many things in a game obey Murphy's law. With a daily build you would be lucky to get past the loading screen w/o it crashing spectacularly.

Once it is merely down to balancing unit abilities, sure, once a day wouldn't be to difficult, but when you are still digging in the code itself, not gonna happen.

Pretty much this exactly. Getting a nightly build at this stage would be unlikely, and the degrees of working things would vary from night to night.
