Custom Made Building Que's

Was reading over some of the other posts about late game tedium and such stuff. And I was struck with an idea about an issue that always killed me in MoO2.

It's middle to late game, my core worlds are pretty much built out or getting there. And I have to start looking at expansion again. Not because I really need too, but because I really just need something to do. So I go out smack an empire around like a little nerdy kid and now I have another 10 planets or so *sigh*.

Alright go to each planet que and manually enter my building plan, then the next, then the next, then the next ad naseum. That gets really old fast. Now unfortunately I am not in beta yet and mabey I am way off base. I have no clue how the build que's work in elemental (well only the idea I have been able to glean from the forums) and if I am wrong I am sorry.

But a nice feature to see would be a Build que save feature. So when I go out and found or conquer city number forty five. I can just load up my complete build que and let it go to town.

  Anyways just and idea.

Yeah I remember the good ol' building grind in MoO2.  And yes, at the moment it is exactly the same in Elemental.   I'm all for a cutomisable auto build list.  Preferably something easy to access and modify In-Game.  I recall one of the civilisation games (I think it was no.2) had customisable auto build lists, but you had to create a file in a specific place, using specific formatting to get it to work.   Then you couldn't change it while in game.

The issue I see wih the auto build list is that it needs to be able to hold all buildings, regardless of whether you have researched the building in the current game or not.  It shuold just skip over buildings that are unavailable.  Also, with Elemental's building system, you have to place each building.  This could cause major issues in having an auto build function.  Also, when you reach the city cap for buildings, does the auto build just get put on hold until the city reaches the next level and you can start building again?  Or will yuo have to manually go and restart the auto build, in which case, you want it to start from where you finished (before teh cap was hit), not from the beginning again!!

Yeah wrote that before I got into the geta and saw the actual mechanics. Shame too, because a good auto-build feature would still be nice.
