Win 2003 and Win 2008

Will EWoM support these server OS (in WS install)

Some of the Impulse games will not support win 2003 or win 2008. Others do not officially support the server OS' but nonetheless will still run on them. Then there are those applications that not only are not supported but are prohibited from installing at all!

Will EWoM support these server workstation OS'?

Will EWoM run on these server workstation OS'?

Will EWoM prevent its installation entirely to these Windows Server OS'?

I wondered this as well.  I've tried to get the answer to this, but they appear to early in the multiplayer to have a definite answer.   They have not even had time to approach letting other people host the games in the aspect that they would be able to guess the system requirements yet.  (They are using windows server)

My question is whether the server would specifically require a windows server, and what would keep stardock from releasing a linux build. I get a lot more bang for my buck out of them.

Havok works on Linux. DesktopX does not. Would DesktopX be required in a UI-less server build though?
