[.295 Bug/Gameplay) Researched Equipment not available

from Elemental Forums

I researched slings, but after that research was completed no slings showed up in weapons when I went to "Unit Design".  )Conversly, after I researched the ability to make swords, they showed up in the "Unit Design" weapons choices.)

seems that they have the tech but not the weapons in the game yet. so the next best thing to do is not waste time on it.

That's correct. If you take a look at the research screen, you will see no icons for unlockable items for those research (by the way those icons need to be larger).

And also after the breakthrough you get no message for unlocked items.

So those techs are in, but not yet functional.
