[0.295] text on background screens bleeds through onto dialogs

I haven't reported this before now, because I thought it was so obvious that there was no way it wasn't going to be fixed in the next release.  With each release I kept thinking that, but maybe it's not happening on other machines then mine. 

What's happening is that the background text from whatever screen is up is showing through the window of the various dialog boxes, so that the text from the back ground screen and the dialog overlap.  I will try to go back in game, and post a screen shot in another post.

It'd probably be a good idea to post the output from a dxdiag command also, so that the developers can see the details of your video card and drivers.  See this thread for what the devs are asking for.

Z-ordering issues in the dialogs are generally going to be unrelated to hardware or drivers, unless the dialog backgrounds are outright failing to appear. Screenshots and specifics about which windows are doing it would be most helpful though.

This has happened to me as well. There's a place where the menu has the background poking through, and I mean right through, numbers messing everything up and making it impossible to read. I just can't remember Which! menu this happens on.
