[0.291] House upgrade automatic cos [FIXED]

I noticed my gold amount crashed without warning and discovered that accepting the House tech was the culprit.  Huts immediately became houses (as intended by the Devs).  That's a nice feature but the cost can be quite substantial -- 1000 gold in this case.  I had 20 completed houses, 8 more being built, the listed house cost is 50, so it's automatically deducting 50 gold per completed house.

I'm not sure what the best answer is, but going from +149 gold to -851 can be problematic  ;)

Yes, I saw that in my last game also.  It dropped my treasury from about 950 gold to less than 50 in one turn.  I didn't get a chance to see if it upgraded all my huts or only as many as I could afford.  By the time I thought of looking at that it was several turns later and the game had crashed.

Maybe being able to allocated X% of our money to automatic improvements a turn would fix this.

X% will not work if you are low in currency. May be I want to upgrate huts and get into dept?

It's not so bad if you are lucky enough to get housing early in the game.  I found out in my last game that they'll only level up after your town becomes a hamlet.  So when I got housing I only had one hamlet and 4 huts that upgraded, and the two other towns I founded later upgraded their huts only when they'd grown to hamlets.  It was easier to manage the gold with it happening that way.

I don't eleive this is as designed...these upgrades should be, basically, free (you've paid for it by whatever it took to get to the next city level).

We'll look into it.

This issue has now been fixed; upgrading improvements (either under construction or already constructed) will cost you no additional gold.  Thanks for pointing this out, guys.
