question about mining

from Elemental Forums

I have a mine right beside my main town. I have learned mining but in town my mining option stayes grayed out. How is it that you can mine?

 

If the mine is far from town how do you get to mine it?  I have not played this game a lot and I think I am far behind. Any help would be appreciated.

Currently you can't. You need to snake out your city to resources to build gathering buildings there.

But the plan is to eventually allow resource gathering buildings to be built a bit outside of cities in a next update or beta.

 

Btw. you can't really be far behind, since a lot of stuff just got implemented two days ago. :)

I'm currently not sure what all resources do actually. :grin:

 

I.e. the UI is missing crucial information about that part, but that's to be expected in a beta.
