Same thing. I note that from the crash log there is a game save version mismatch even when using a brand new game save. It then begins to load Kumquat 3D and crashes.

Testing will be sooooo much easier when save games finally work in beta!

It is true that testing for specific crashes will be much easier once save games work. There's a lot of fixes in the pipes I'm sure, this one should be near the top of the list of importance though.

With all the new additions in this beta there's plenty of other stuff to test in the mean time

yea it's a problem with me too... can't really test the game like that

running it on w7 64 bit, tried compatibily modes and admin on and off on all of them, no luck...

after a few "end turns" my game just freezes up and i can't load my autosave anymore...

where's the error report anyway?

I also don't seem to be able to load a saved game at all in the latest build.

Interestingly, my first couple of save games could be loaded.  However, as I restarted to play different ways, they started freezing upon loading every now and then, and now they crash completely every time.
