[CRASH] 1G: At create soverign screen

I have been experiancing a crash every time i have tried to hit the "create soverign" button. This button is the only one displayed and I assume that that is not the way it is to be set up.

I'm having the same issue when customizing my Sovereign. The crash always happens when choosing equipment. No way to upload dump files at this time, sorry :S

I must say I never experienced in my life to play a beta so messed up.

Ok, i can understand there are works in progress, but Jesus Christ, I was just wandering what I have to test if *nothing* works as intended.

Unfortunatly that's the nature of the beast with PC game development...what works solid on one machine (or, in this case, the 30+ test boxes we use in the offices) fails in a craptacular explosion on others.  I don't think we promised Beta 1 to be anything less that painful ;)

Next week is actually devoted ENTIRELY to cleaning up crashes and memory leaks, so please, the more info everyone can send our way, the better!

I have this same issue.

When I arrive at the choose soverign screen, there are none to choose.  The only option appears to be create a new one.  But the game CTD when pressing the "Create Soverign" button.

This only happens on my Windows 7 machine.  I will send in the specs for it later.

Now there is some serious good news! Yee haaaa. Don't mind us if we hold you to that.... ;)

My experience has been that if I just do the basic creation elements, my Sov works, saves and loads.

My first Sov creation CTD occured when I had the basics done, then went to alter his Gear. No sooner than I gave him Boots( I think) CTD.

Another issue is if you do get him to Save depending on which items you selected or changed from the Default Sov's that Sov will not load ever again. I need time to compare the Stardock built Sov's vs my own. I will report back...

So for now. My Sovs all where slippers or whatever they start with.
