Direct3D Error - Demigod

OooOOoOhhh my drivers arn't up to date.

So, I reinstalled Demigod after getting an Unable to Start: Unable to create Direct3D. Please ensure you have the right drivers blah blah.

After the reinstall, I still get the same errors. I've updated, unupdated and reupdated my drivers, so I know they are the right ones.

What the heck is going on and how can I fix it?

Problem solved by opening the config file and chaning the resolution manually.

I'm curious to know -- what was the resolution it had been set to that caused this error?

Also, did you start getting the errors after any kind of change? New monitor/video card/etc, installed new software, ran Windows Update? Or was it out of the blue?
