"Account Not Found"

Why won't it let me get online? I've created my account, but it says it's not found.

I've had the retail version of this game for two years now, and I just today decided to give online play a try. It took me a while to get all the updates downloaded with Impulse, but now it says that my account name isn't found. I used my CD-Key for this account! I'm on the forums with the account as we speak! I can get on Impulse, Stardock.com, and even here, but it won't work in the game.

Can someone please tell me what's wrong?

ICO uses separate accounts from Impulse, so you'll need to create a separate one with your same cd-key there.

you can't. It says "cd key in use" same problem here
