Hello, my name is Patrick and I got a Mac Theme and all that stuff. And then I went to design my own bootskin because I couldn't really find anything I wanted. I used this tutorial for creating a Bootskin: https://www.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?AID=97764 - and I went succesfull. But when I tried to load my .bootskin file with Bootskin Vista, this showed up: http://i50.tinypic.com/5fq255.png - but when I use the other version I have called Bootskin, it will show up gladly. But I think thats the version for Windows XP, so how can I use this .bootskin file for Vista? Please help? ![]()

The tutorial you posted was for Bootskin XP. Those types of bootskins will not work on Vista. You have to use the Vista bootskin program for Vista, and basically those bootskins are just wallpapers. Bootskin XP is a program that is no longer being supported by Stardock, so it's "use as is".
To clarify, Bootskin XP (the kind with the progress bar) will not work on Vista. You have to use the Bootskin program that you can download from Impulse.
