Are there any programs that can be used to sort through, edit and organise the GameInfo files?

...

If there isn't I was thinking of working on building my own program to do that, and I want to know if that is worth doing.

Well, there are a couple of programs that help with specific things, like the player files and stuff, but for most of them its just using notepad.

Notepad++ helps a lot.
