My Best Friend's Maid of Honor

My best friend's maid of honor just so happens to be me.  The bride is actually my cousin, but we are more like sisters.  We have been inseparable since birth, and we are a lot alike. She was in my wedding, but not as the maid of honor unfortunately.  That role had to fall to my real sister.  But my cousin sure acted like the maid of honor through the entire process.

That's why I would like to do a really good job being her actual maid of honor.  She is such a great person, and she deserves a great big day.  We only have six months left until her wedding date, so its crunch time for us as far as planning goes.

We just sent out save the dates, and we are now working on ordering bridesmaids dresses.  It's a lot of fun for me and her to be able to do all this stuff together.  It definitely solidifies our friendship.  The only hard part for me so far has been planning two showers and a bachelorette party for her.  I want them to be really fun and magical for her, so I'm going all out on themes and decorations.  I just hope she likes it.  I've ran my ideas past her and she loves them, but I hope the execution of those ideas go well.  Wish me luck!
