Sad Snowy Day
It's a sad time of year for me right now. You might think this is sill, but I'm sad to be putting our Christmas decorations away. I never like taking them down because it makes me sad to come to terms that the Christmas season is over. I just like spending time with my family so much that I never want it to end. However, I do like starting a new year and the excitement that comes along with that. I also like working with my husband to find spots for the new things we got for Christmas.
Our home doesn't have a lot of storage in it, so its always an adventure to try to find a place for things. We got a set of High Sierra luggage for Christmas, and we have no place to store it. We already had an old luggage set of mine, so I guess we'll have to take it to Good Will. My husband got some model medieval armor for Christmas as well, and that's even harder to find a place for. My husband wants to put it in the living room, but I don't want to have to look it at everyday. We'll just have to compromise somehow I suppose.
My husband just mentioned that he would like to take a break, and I'm kind of feeling that too. I think we are going to watch one of our new movies called New in Town and then going to take a nap or something. It's a snowy day in our neck of the woods today, so my husband didn't have work. I love it when that happens. I acutally have to do some online shopping for my mom's birthday that's coming up. I want to get her this, but I'm still trying to decide between it and a Vera Bradley bag she wants. Peace.
