The New Year Has Started

The new year is here again.  I say again because it felt like 2009 went by in such a flash that I can hardly believe it.  I feel whip lashed lol.  But nonetheless, I'm excited to start anew.  I'm excited to be faced with new challenges, new experiences, and to grow as a person.  I'm not looking forward to the bad times that will certainly come.  I only wish to be able to recover quickly from those.  But I am looking forward towards the wonderful times.  Those are the ones worth living for. 

Now I know that I have already mentioned this book series, but I have finished it since I was last here.  And it is so amazing. Again, it's called This is the book series website, and you should check it out. If you loved Twilight, you will love this just as much.  It has forbidden love, completed with a love triangle, and it stretches into a world of full fantasy.  It's a world you will love to live in while you are reading it, and that you will love to revisit every once in a while. I’ve been recommending these books to literally everyone.  In fact, I was at Starbucks yesterday and ran into one of my old friends from high school. She was working, which is  ecommerce marketing, and I just couldn't help but tell her all about the new book series I had just finished.  She was excited to read them too, fortunately  

To help us celebrate the new year, my husband and I went to a party at a friend's place.  I was so much fun and I did not want to leave.  The party was a good opportunity for me to wear my new sheepskin boots, and everyone else seemed to take the same opportunity to show off their new stuff lol. One of the many children that were running around was showing everyone her new strawberry shortcake toy, and it was so sweet to see how much she loved it. I wish I had kids. Maybe that will be one of my experience this year Peace
