[0.262] SUGGESTION - displacement choice

When the sovereign creates a city, they get displaced to an adjacent tile.  It would be nice to have the option of choosing which tile they get displaced to.

It appears that if you are out of movement and select an adjacent tile, that you will move there when you are displaced, but this method does not work if you are not out of movement.

Actually, better scratch that whole displacement thing. It doesn't seem to serve any purpose and it also gives the Sovereing one more move whe he shouldn't have. The stationing thing itself seems to me like a relic from GalCiv2 where it made sense in the context of orbiting around planets, but imho not really in Elemental with cities.

I would much rather the sovereign automatically be placed in the city garrison than be displaced like he currently is.

GalCiv2 eventually gained a launch-direction functionality so you could choose which square a ship would appear on when it left planetary orbit. Hopefully, the plan for Elemental includes something similar for units stationed in keeps. (Getting rid of the 'free move problem' would be nice, too.)

It is frustrating if you need to quickly send a unit out onto a road and he gets put on the other side of the city.

It would be better to be able to select the unit in the city when you select its icon, then move where you like.

And I had the following problem : I gav my sov the order to get out the city, but he went on a city square -__- .. so he was once more time in the city. 1 movement point lost for nothing :P

I see to deferant problems here:

1. Sov displacment when building a city.

2. Unit displacment when leaving garrison.

for the first one I would suggest to just automaticly  garrison the sov in the city, for the second one I would suggest to spawn the unit the city tile (the one you get when you first build the city)

I think that the Sov should be placed in the city when its built.

But the game should be smart about ejecting units ie say ordering your Sov to leave the city to go north it will automatically eject him north of your city with the least amount of moves to get there. Also same with Rally points when your building your army in cities. Just ditch the old GalCiv2 way of placing your own release point from planets(ie cities in elemental).
