[.262]some progress: Now it crash at world creation screen

I have a 5 year old graphic card. It isn't a DirectX 9.0c card but I am able to play Knight Bounty: Armored Princess which list DirectX 9.0c as a minimum requirement.

In previous betas, I wasn't able to go past the intro movie. This time, after having modified the pref.ini file to remove all kinds sounds as well as the shadows, I was able to create a new game. Sadly it crashed during the world creation screen.

I have submitted an enty to FogBuz http://fogbugz.stardock.com/default.asp?pg=pgPublicView&sTicket=71651_5oq3

Here is the latest entries of the debug.err file

I have run the DxDiag but it didn't displayed any problems. Is there a diagnostic tools allowing to test if a card implements shader 2.0 technique for shader instancing?
