Multiplayer Ideas

It doesn't show who is allied with who, you need to use a spy/some sort of spell to find out (possiblity of failure of course).  (You can choose to have it announced to all players though). 

 

I think multiplayer will keep this game alive for a while so please people post your ideas to make it the best it can be.

I think they will most likely have something like this. I am all for having spys actually have strategic value.

I think their should be public treaties and private treatise/trade agreements. Public treaties (and some types of treaties, like declarations of full-scale war, will have to be public) are viewable on an easy to use interface that lists all existing factions that you have met, and relative attitudes towards each other.

I like the idea of multiplayer for this game both local lan and internet play.  I also think it will extend the life of the game and its mods.  It will probably require lots of time to play to end game so I would also like some sort of save game for the groups to then continue play(ie you and your friends set time schedule for play of ever Saturday night from 9pm-12pm).  Pick up gameplay as needed.
