Galactic Civilazations 2

serialnumber error

Hi!

I bought a Galactic Civilazations 2 box at a Game store in Gothenburg, but the serial isnt working when I try to register it here on Impulse. Impulse claims it invalid so I cant update the game.

I have the box, the reciet? (the paper you get when you buy stuff), the 2 cds, the manual and a non working serial key.

What to do? Do I need to go back to the Game store and change the box or can I get a new serial here? I dont live in Gothenburg any longer and I bought the game this spring, havent have time to test it until now.
