The current overlay shows games played / games won / familiarity

Currently it only shows the games played for this Epoch? It would be a lot better if it showed the total games played.
Say a player played 500 games last Epoch but only 10 this Epoch, everyone will think he's a 10 game noob, while he is not.

 

Currently the overlay shows % games won, this isn't really a great indicator to how good someone is.
I can get 90% wins by playing only against noobs or by playing only with my premade vs not too good opponents.

I think the win % should be changed to rank (experience), rank is a much better indicator of someone's real skill.
Ofcourse you should also remove all the players with 0 games from the ranking to show the real ranks of people below 1000 experience.

Experienced goes up down depending on how good your enemies are iirc, this should solve a lot of problems.

 

The familiarity isn't really too great either, I think it should just show how many games you have played with that player on your team.

Currently I have no idea what it shows, if you play 10 games in a row with one player it can go up to 30-50%, if you then play 5 games without him it goes back down to 5%, doen't make sense to me.

I agree with you the current overlay isn't really good.

The percental stats seem to mean nothing,

maybe the experience rank is better for sure.

The overlay must be changed definitely.

Playtime and # of games played are good indicators imho.

if # games is the total games actually played (not only this Epoch) then its a good. however, the %win is pretty useless, I never look at that.

I disagree. Everybody knows that rank doesnt reflect real skill. Rank is mostly how much do you play.

Sometimes rank means nothing. especially if certain people cheat the game to make their losses not get recorded.

I've seen ppl with 60% and even 80%+ play like total retards

 

you don't get a higher rank for playing a lot

rank goes up according to how good the ppl you play are

so if you win one match against good opponents your rank should go up a lot more than by winning 10 matches against bad opponents

ofcourse you could just constantly play matches vs crappy players and get a high rank but then why would you want to play better players and why would those crappy players want to keep playing you?

 

if you can cheat rank you can also cheat games played / games won % / ...

they should ban the cheaters and remove the possibilities to cheat, not adapt the ranking system to cheaters

Actually I lose a ton more exp against good players when I lose than when I lose against lower ranked players...
