So, Eufloria anyone?

I was a big fan of this game back when it was in pre-released and went by the name of Dyson, however it's finished and available for purchase over several Digital distribution networks and their offical website here.

This is a really unique take on RTS, if it can still be labelled as such, and I highly recommend it for anyone who likes the emerging 'Ambient' genre of games as it's both calming and challenging at the same time.

Has anyone else played it or interested in it?

Does it offer anything more than Dyson? Aside from more levels, of course...

Holy Pewpews....I was watching the teaser and my jaws dropped when the flower petals started shooting each other. I haven't noticed that it's supposed to be an RTS.

I started playing the demo. Looks promising. And to think all of it has been done in SDL :).

I used the term fairly losely, the game is about raising up numbers of Dyson Flowers and attacking other asteroids and taking them over, so I felt the RTS label kind of fit.

Yes, albiet the standout features are really the polish that's been added and the additional levels. One key difference is the attrition factor; your Dyson Flowers will die off after a certain amount of time to prevent you from raising trillions of them and just steam rolling the game - you have to select very carefully how to play. Also of note is the Procedural Level Generation code is almost entirely bulletproof - no more large, un-navigatable gaps between asteroids making some levels unfinishable.
