Last person to post wins, unless they are a moderator or admin.

Basically, this game is played so that the last person who post wins. What do they win? The ThreadKiller's Achievement; The honor of being the last person to post by virtue of the content of their post. However, moderators, admins, and anyone else who has the ability to lock the thread are disqualified from winning the ThreadKiller's Achievement, if they win by locking. If the thread is won by method of locking, the "winner" gains the Achievement Of Reprehensible Epic Lameness.

That is a pretty sweet pic. Love to watch a massive bolt of radiation act as a carbon spear moving near the speed of light.

wouldn't want to see any planet busters. I kinda feel that's been overdone and is kinda counter-productive. You want to keep the planet, not destroy it. And most either have one big ship that no others seem to ever recreate or no classes of vessel that bridge the gap between traditional caps and the big gun. Then there are those that have planet busting tech everywhere. Can't see that becoming too popular, much less encourage anyone to actually build a real fleet.

Planet busters are lame. Okay as a scorched earth policy or genocide maybe but war is usually economical in nature (sometimes hard to figure out but it is there) so planet busters are not that useful in the end.

Not unless you're dealing with a swarm/plague style enemy that must be wiped out at all costs, but in general, you're right.  Even tactical nukes would be a better option in most cases, although something to leave local infrastructure in place would be even better.  Why build your own cities when the locals already have them?

nine ratfish,

seven bisofish,

three numbfish,

two draakjackets,

one stuntfish,

one dark electrofish,

ten possums (as usual all with imploded heads)

and

one tuskfish (as usual with ten possum bites around the head and it's skull imploded)

Like, if dealing with the homeworld of the aliens from the derelict ship on LV426, it would be more wise to just destroy the entire planet rather than attempt to merely nuke the surface as Cainan's people did in Outlander. But for most cases, such as if one wanted to kill life on Earth, since Earth has a lot of water, use enough nukes or antimatter to vaporize the oceans and steam cook everything on land. Once it cools down, you still have a planet that's able to be inhabited upon later.
