Yay. someone liked one of my suggestions

It's a combination of "Elemental" and the word "Thesaurus".

I kinda like the word "Elementum" but drop the Lexicum in front of it.

We should write start a new thread and have everyone Vote on a list of names the most people like. Maybe even make a contest out of it....Hmmm....

I was thinking about putting it in a survey - haven't done a survey in a long time.

If we do a Vote/Survey we should compile a list of the names people like the most to give a broad range of fair choices. Still, we don't even know if it's something they want to change, though Brad did make a note "name could use some work" in his other post.

Give the thread a few more days to build up some suggestions/names and then go for a survey and we'll see what happens.

Well, this will also be one of the easiest things to mod, so we should have alternate names proliferating very rapidly.

I think Elementium is a very real possibility

I could go with Elementum. Not my first choice, but it would be workable.

which just gave me an exquisite alternate to newb and noob ... to create a far more insulting expression referred to as "elementard"

I tried doing a survey monkey on it and it won't let me give as many choices as are proposed in this thread.

So we need to whittle the options down to maybe 8 or 10 choices. (if you really want a survey)

It won't let me vote - when I try it says "You cannot vote repeatedly" even though it is my first attempt to vote.

Elemental Arcanum?

It should be called:

"A study into the nature and causes of the elemental wars of nations" (sorry for the ripoff Mr Smith)

Sovereign guide to Elemental  (Twilight world/whatever)  

I guess Elementapedia wins ... alot better than Elementalopedia anyways
