Updated to 0.24 and started a new game. After saving the game i loaded it again and all the building improvements (like houses insteads of huts) are disappeared from the construction menu.

Yeah, after every load it seems that researching is set back to its beginning state and along with it, all of its improvements you could have before.
It is quite annoying to have that happen repeatably due to all the crashes I get from time to time.
This is fixed internally for the next update.
