[0.24] [Bug?] You can play as Fallen

You can actually play as Fallen if you select them from the Advanced option for choosing faction. You can only "choose" Resoln (the very firstone) as you cannot actually choose any other but hitting Next after selecting the tab for Empires of Elemental will let you play with that Fallen faction. If you go back to the choose faction screen and select a Kingdom, you won't be able to select it again unless you use the Advanced option again.

Seems a bug because the Fallen Empires are not selectable by default.

After having done this, I couldn't go back to any other faction.  I selected every other faction, and then finally selected Altar.  Game still started up as Fallen.

until Strand made his post I was going to suggest it wasn't an issue because its the "advanced option" which in theory could hold custom factions as well as normally unplayable factions, and its a test in that aspect I suppose.

They're only disabled so people don't complain about them during the beta. Anyone attempting to play them anyway will be beaten, then fried.

So what you're saying is that we should stop reporting bugs that only exist because of something that won't be in the final game, and in fact exists solely to reduce the amount of 'Fallen iz BROKED' bug posts?

Well, I know that if Fallen == NonPlayable, no bugs about them should be reported because... well, Fallen == NonPlayable. But I tought I should mention that someone didn't check that screen in Advanced properly (not trying to make anyone feel guilty, mistakes happen and this is minor).

Also, Frogboy in the changelog said that advanced was for when custom factionswhen they were possible (which I understood as "not yet but the tech for Advanced button works now").

oh, is now a bad time to post that the map icons for the fallen buildings are still the old medallion from beta 1 rather than updating to the map icons like what the "men" are using?    In fact, everything about them, including tech tree, seems to be the old versions.   I must note though it still doesn't let you spam palaces.
