[GRAPHICS SUGGESTION]: "Invisible" Roads

It's a minor thing, but now that the roads are actually working (for the most part) I realize that they are almost the EXACT same color as the FOW, and thus are almost impossible to see outside of the first few "lit" tiles.

They also "overshoot" the towns by a fair margin.

well, I think the suggestion should be roads shouldn't build where there is fog of war.  Either A:  the  fog of war should go away (because the road crews mapped the area) or B:  it should build around the fog of war (worse of the two options, but perhaps better at this point in the development, because it would prove that roads path around almost any added terrain feature.

Well, while I don't know if they clear the "thick" FOW where you have NEVER seen that tile, I don't think it would make sense for them to clear the "thin" FOW where you have been there before but just don't have a unit there now: It's not like you have gaurds stationed every mile or so along the way, is it?

As for the overshoot, I don't think they have quite nailed that yet, but its more a 'not implemented' than a bug IMO.

A road should never have fog of war within a one tile radius simply due to the fact that any road would in theory have travellers. Guard Stations (early researchable tech?) along a road would provide basic scouting and so roads should be revealed.

Glavius, I agree.  I think they do actually have travellers, as I've seen (1) expanded areas of vision moving along the roads and (2) an attack by a spider on a "caravan" of mine when the spider was on the road.  I have no idea what the "caravan" was doing (it was nothing that I explicitly created), but I expect that it will be further developed as the beta progresses.
