Although this sounds un-related, please try a lower screen resolution in the Video tab of the options screen. Does this enable the Save button?

The Critter and I (mostly, it was the Critter) discovered that deleting the prefs.ini will also fix the issue. I imgaine he's trying to narrow down what specifically is the cause.
