[BUG] Diagonal buildings limit options for further construction.

1. Build a city.

2. Place a building that attaches to the main city only diagonally.

3. Further buildings must be adjacent to that building, rather than any part of the entire city, and there are some graphical issues.

This is actually a tiles vs squares issue. You have to build in 2x2 blocks, not freely.

Each Tile has 4 places to put buildings. The first buildng you place will "choose" which tile will be available for further buildings.

Hmm.  Yeah, that seems to be how it works.  Is this intended behaviour too?

I suppose you just get two possible tiles when the city is made.  They should both display with the green squares, though.

To elaborate on what Vieuxchat is saying.   You have a limited number of "tiles" that you can put buildings on.   Once you place a building on a tile, that tile is developed.   You can fill that tile (i.e adjacent buildings) but you can't actually open up another tile unless you have the room.

So basically...  if you can't build more titles... wait a few turns for your town to "upgrade" and you'll be able to build anywhere again.

Yep, you can see on the bottom "Tiles left" or something like that, when you click on your city.
