[SUGGESTION] healing
Looks like the sovereign only heals when he drinks the Kool-Aid. Couldn't he at least heal 1 hp per turn naturally?
Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

The Sovereign heals when residing in one of your cities too. Then, it's two hp/turn after the first turn he entered the city.
I don't really want to see natural regen out in the field unless it's being granted by an item, first aid skill, or resting at some ruins or constructed fort/campsite. Magic of course being another option, but I was just limiting it to basic units. If you've chosen to go adventuring in the wild, it should be an incentive to return to town to rest up and heal.
A sovereign of whatever faction ends up possibly being connected to life magic could be an exception, possessing an innate power to self-heal.
I tend to favor slow healing in the field (creates an incentive to use healing magic) with faster healing in a city (creates an incentive to rest in a city); but if your troops are half way across the map, returning home to heal is not a satisfactory solution.
