[BUG/GRAPHICS]

Glitchy graphics with ATI X1900

I'm running Windows 7 64 RC 7100 with 8800GTX, Windows Vista 64 with NVIDIA 8800GTX, and also Windows XP Pro with an ATI X1900. I have had a couple of crashes on my 8800GTX machines, but nothing major.

On my ATI video card on windows XP, I'm getting artifacts/graphical glitches, looks similar to other screenshots with ATI graphics cards. I also had a lockup during end of turn, and the game would not respond.

Yep, looks like my problems here and here.

Someone did say they had an nvidia card that had the tiling problem though, so I'm not sure if it's just ATI.

I fixed the tile issue by setting mipmap levels to 1, and the other issue by turning the resolution to the lowest possible (1024x768 in my case).

I have the same issue on my laptop which is using an ATI x1600. I'll already tried setting the mipmap levels to 1 on both machines which seems to have fixed the tiling, have not tried using a lower resolution yet.

Setting the resolution to 1024x768 on both of my ATI graphics machines fixes the graphics glitches. At any other resolution, I get the artifacts.

Stevty2889,

Do the artifacts you get at other resolutions stay "fixed" on the screen as you move the camera around the map?

Yes, the artifacts stay fixed on the screen as I move the screen/camera around.

Both issues appear to be fixed after the patch. I changed mipmaps back to default, and increased my resolution, and neither the lines, nor the artifacts are showing up on my x1900. I will also verify this on my x1600 as well.

UPDATE: Confirmed, fixed the graphics glitches on both of my ATI graphics cards!
