[BUG] Failure to properly start new game.

1. Start new game.

2. Play a few turns.

3. Press escape.

4. Click Main Menu.

5. Click Skirmish.

6. Continue.

8. Profit.

Also note that is my invisible imaginary island city, the total population of zero, and that I cannot make any moves. The menus are functional, but nothing else happens.

Yeah, we're trying to nail the in-game restarting bug for the next update. It was something we knew about but really wanted to get the beta to you guys

You'll find the same thing will probably/definatly happen when saved games are loaded from within a game
