Just as the title says, when I attempt to build roads between my cities they always go off in a north-westerly direction and not towards the city I requested (as guaged from the camera's initial starting rotation, which I assume to be looking roughly north).
I built a road between two of my cities no problem, and three turns later the game crashed for a (presumably) unrelated reason, so no pics sorry.
My roads for 3 cities kept going to the North East. I tried building a road from city A to B and after a bit, noticed it toward the NE and past the sight of both cities. Then I tried to build from B to A a few turns later. Again to the NE and out of sight. Finally, I built Mining town C and it also went in the Same NE direction.
I had this too, but I've got a screenshot.
Also, a new road from a city far in the east went southeast immediately. My guess would be that it was trying to link with the road, which continued SE, rather than the city.
I built a middle size road from 2nd to first city and it worked fine. Then I built a HUGE road from 2nd city to 3rd city. I believe it froze/crashed my game. Also I have to say (Dont think I have anywhere) that the damn map is just beautiful (At work looking at the pic above reminds me).
When I build roads there is no indication they have been built, i.e. no complete message, no road on map, option to build road is still there.
In addition if i try to build a road when i have 3 or more cities the game freezes
