[Bug] Can't start any skirmish game

from Elemental Forums

Hi,

 

i just installed the beta and the only play option is skirmish.

 

The first screen says a strange world name called: àS}  I can't change anything on this screen other than world name which doesn't has an effect. No world size, hills, etc. nothing.

 

Clicking on "next" brings me to the "Choose Faction Screen". All is empty i can't choose any faction but i can click "next"

 

Clicking on "next" brings me to the "Choose Opponent Screen". Its also empty, no fractions to choose. I can't go further because i get an error message when clicking "play": "You can't continue without any opponents"

 

Anyone else has this problem?

Hi!

Screens would be nice (Hitting the PrintScrn key puts screenshots in the Elemental/Screenshots directory).

Also, upload your debug.err to pastebin.com (or some other site) and link to it.  A new debug.err file appears after each game run in your Elemental directory in My Documents\My Games (on XP at least).

 

Edit: I see ghoulas' thread contains lots of pics, so you can ignore that part.

Ah ok. I really looked over all the bugs here but i've overseen your thread!
