{SUGGESTION} Only allowed one ring per unit

It appears you are only allowed one ring per unit.  I'm thinking you should at least benefit from the possibility of 2 rings one per hand.

I was lucky enough to equip my sovereign with 2 rings.  Wasn't real obvious how to do it, but experimenting with double clicking the rings and watching the stats change got the job done.

Also if it is equipped it should show an E letter.

OP is refering to custom troops where you have to choose between a +5 damage ring or a +20 hp ring; in real gameplay I doubt this will carry through as you'll have to find/earn such items. I would tend to agree with OP that two rings should be possible, as it is for the sovereign

You should be able to equip two accessories, so two rings.

I think a simple paper doll system would allow people to see better just what they can and can't equip on a unit of course  this might already be in the works but if not it should be considered.

Rings do show an E when equipped... ;)

Hmm, it doesn't seem to work for me.  I create a new unit.  Attempt to equip both the +5 to melee ring as well as the +20 hp ring, and one will overwrite the other.  So is this working for some people?

Both unit creation and your sovereign himself could definitely use an mmo-style paper doll, or even just a list of items that are currently equipped, it can be a pain to hunt them down - especially in unit creation where the available items are split between several screens, you have to flip between 3 screens to see everything a unit is wearing.

Also, it needs to be clearer which "slot" a given item fills, I might happen to know that a Barbute and a Heaume are both helmets, but I bet the average person doesn't.

Everytime the 2 accessories thing comes up, I always wonder why games with that kind of accessory system don't allow for missing limbs.

My question is, why only 2 accessories.   Are necklaces, bracelets, loin-clothes, random HoMM style accessories also limited by this?  (rather than a "ring slot" )

Only two rings reminds me strongly of D&D. Always preventing players of 20 magical rings (in case of all fingers present). :P

Hopefully, we will end with a nice and serious paperdoll (at least for sovereign and heroes) where we can use all types of interestig stuff. Not asking for magical dental filling, or piercings in the most unexpected places, you know.

Do you have twenty fingers, or do you wear two rings on each finger?  Inquiring minds want to know.

The idea used in D&D, and the one I used with my group, is that you can use more than one ring per hand if you really want to, but theres a chance one might blow up whenever you clap your hands together. :)  Just too much magic in one place.

Wintersong - not hot on the "Tongue Ring of Excitement"?

The old good days when my young little Bard had a magical ring in one of her fingers (from the right foot)... Yeah, they are supposed to be used in your hands and not your feet and in the end maybe it wasn't even magical after all (surely she couldn't fly, feather fall, was hit as usual and she scored natural 1 as usual [which means often]...).

I haven't tried the "Tongue Ring of Excitement" in any form but surely it wouldn't be the one that makes me sick...

Maybe 10 fingers and 10 toes?

Paperdoll would be nice to have, especially for the sovereign and heroes.
