Had the same problem so I reported it, but after playing around with the video settings I found that disabling the antialiasing would bring the cloth map back.

Same issue for me.  I already had Anti-aliasing disabled though.  What fixed it for me was reducing the screen resolution and turning off some effects.

Could this be a lack of video memory?  My system is really low on it.

Same thing here with 0.23 whenever I set Antialiasing to 4x (the default).

No problem at all when I set it to 2x

Yeap I get that sometimes. I called it the "Grey World" Bug in my report.

I got that as well.

Was playing good sovereign, died, "oked" through menus to start a new game, and bang, HUD and nothing else.

With the current build of the game (0.23), the game within a game functionality is not in yet.  So you will always see strange behavior in this way.  This is also true of loading a game after you've started one, for the same reason.  The game simply does not yet have code to cleanup everything and start a new session.  You must first restart Elemental.

I know it sucks, but that's the deal for now.  Please spread the word so I don't have to keep repeating it.  :)
