Beta with paypal

On behalf those of us currently stuck in the horrible land of Paypalia, will there be a chance to preorder using paypal before beta is locked til next year? Would somewhat suck if not.

I'd be intersted in knowing this as well.  My bank has much hate for internet transactions, but grudgingly accepts Paypal.  Any information on this issue would be appreciated.

We usually leave an open window for a week or so after starting a beta phase in which time orders go through directly rather than queueing; paypal would be usable during such a period.

Ah, so if I didn't pre-order by mistake (Pretty sure I did) I'd still be able to get in at launch?'

I think for Impulse future upgrade you should have a "My Preorders section" or a purchase history.

Yes, it will lock until the next beta phase, which is scheduled for some time around January. (At least if it runs like all of their other betas)

People are already playing the Beta and posting bug reports but I still can't preorder with PayPal! :(    Any idea when the PayPal window will open for Beta 1, Please????:pout:

It doesn't look like stardock wants our money. first they up the price to $60 and now they won't let me preorder. If they gave me a few days warning I would of had enough money in the bank for the visa debit to go through for the $50 I preordered at. Now stardock want more money.

I believe they implemented a localized currency display.  Meaning that if you are in Australia, the cost of the game is in Austrailian Dollars.   I think that might be what you are seeing, because I ordered the game (in US) and it is still $50.

The game is still USD$49.95. If you're seeing otherwise it's likely just the localized currency display in Impulse as Murteas said.

The game should now be charging through directly, so paypal should be available to use.
