Beta is expected to be available Sept 4-6. I am usre announcements will be forthcoming on these forums as it gets closer...

Thank you for your clafirication. So, do I need to fill out a form or am I going to receive a link to download the client once beta starts?

There is no form. If you pre-ordered the game, it will automatically apper in your Impulse window, ready to download.

Stardock usually doesn't release Betas on a Friday- especially on a holiday weekend, thinking it will either be September 3rd or 8th.

They have good reason, what if something goes really wrong and they need to make a fix to keep people from having their computers break or something? 

Hopefully it's the 3rd, as I work on the weekends and would love to try out the beta at work.

When you preorder, your order just goes into a queue. Once we are ready to release the beta, all the pending preorders will be charged and you'll be granted access. There's not really anything you need to do (besides placing the order) but wait for now.

You'll also get an email when it's available for you.

It won't be the 3rd. Frogboy has said many times before that it will be released during or shortly after PAX, which is September 4-6.

I received an e-mail from stardock few weeks ago and now I want to download my copy of Elementals. The process if extremely confusing. I register the product I enter my serial number and update the game/name of product then I register it gives me "successful" message then nothing happens. No install button.

Can someone help me please?

Top left button in impulse:  you have to set it to show beta programs.  By default betas are not shown in the download games section of impulse.

Hi all, i have also preordered Elemental just 2 days ago but i have yet to receive an email with the code.

In my impulse Elemental is not listed even if i have checked the show betas button.

Any idea?

Well as entering into the beta was closed at  october 1, you need to wait for another opening that is planned to late Fall.

Any word on next beta opening, I also preordered a week after the last one closed.

We're currently at 1B (the page hasn't been updated to reflect that yet). The next beta period starts when we get down to beta 2. "Not in 2009" is the best estimate I've got right now.
