One of the harder to quantify advantages of Impulse IMO is that it generally has the fastest download speeds of anything similar out there. And I don’t mean one of those “faster in benchmark” but I mean faster by such a wide margin that it’ll basically go as fast as your ISP can go.

It is several orders of magnitudes faster for me as well.
Steam DLs at my max connection speed to. Impulse did also while i had it.

Impulse used to be capped to download at around 250k/s, but now it seems to be able to range from 500k/s to 1,000k/s or roughly 1/4-1/2 of my maximum download speed (yes, I have a very fast connection). That's a far cry better than it was, but still not as unthrotled as Steam or the Internet in general. At least not for me.
