We need some major spells that use all 5 elements

I quite like Wintersong's recent set of avatar pics with element runes on the frames. The most I've seen on one pic, though, is four elements. Which got me to thinking...

If Elemental has an analog to the MoM spell Call the Void, it should require all 5 types of mana. (Call the Void wrecks an entire city, seriously maims or kills any units in the city, and corrupts surrounding land with the 'fallout' from the destruction.)

Any thoughts on other spells that would need the Full Five?

Cold War Nukes Spell (not the in-game name :P ): Kills all of your units, cities, etc., plus all those of one other channeler you select. Useful for mutually-assured-destruction situations, as well as going out in a blaze of glory. Note that for it to work the way I want it to, it should actually be fairly easy to research (although not effortless) so that multiple people can get it. That way, you can have situations where people are hesitant to attack because the other guy juuust miiight be willing to do something drastic, especially if he is little or weak.

Bad idea. It would make multiplayer virtually unwinnable - the losing player could just cast this spell and force a draw, especially if it's easy to research. But more importantly, it wouldn't be fun in singleplayer. It wouldn't be much fun for the player because in the hands of a person it accomplishes about the same thing as pressing the "surrender" button, just with a little more pizazz. And it also gives a "you lose!" button to the AI, which just isn't much fun. I don't like "you lose!" buttons, except for another player accomplishing a victory condition or military elimination - but those are hardly buttons, more like complicated mazes where wrong turns end in a meat grinder.

I guess it all depends on how well the AI can handle it. What I am hoping for is for the AI to be able to understand that it should not use this spell just any time, but still use it in a few rare situations, to add a little tension. Maybe not TOTAL destruction, and if the AI cannot get it, then ndefinately no.

Lady Luck's Will:

One of the players (human, AI or alien) is chosen, randomly, as the winner of the game. The rest lose (I mention it just in case).

"I won! I won!" - Patrick The Weak (and Lucky).

Didn't a Dev post that a winning condition was learning and casting some specific spell? Can't find the entry, but I beleive it was something like "Eden" or "Genesis" or "Imbue Life."

EDIT:

I meant to quote an earlier post "Maybe it could be a victory condition, amass enough of all types of mana + a significant amount of essence and create the some sort of 'Tower of Elements'"

It was called the "Spell of making". I'm not sure what exactly it makes, but I assume it's something very, very powerful....

I sure wish the Atari idiots had at least thought of some Be Our Second Cousin deal that would have let Stardock post the PDFs for the MoM manual & spell guide. It'd be great to be able to reference them with confidence that folks could follow a link or three if they didn't already have their own copies.

I don't know if I'm allowed to post this, but the manual for MoM is available here So, if you want to reference it, now everyone can follow

If SD doesn't want this link here, remove it, or let me now so I can remove it...
