I'm located in Cape Town South Africa.

Are there only one server available, or do I have the option to connect to servers closer to my location?

The game is peer-to-peer, so there are no central servers (aside from proxies for users with troublesome internet connections) for play. Mainly you just need a reliable connection and opponents near enough to have good ping times.
