The Conservation Of Awesomeness!

From what Brad was saying in the journals it seems like this game will use a complex form the conservation of awesomeness of the channler.

for those that that do not know the formula is derived from the conservation of ninjitsu P = 1/N where p is the power of an individual ninja and N is the number of ninjas.

Henceforth I'm starting a petition for all non-hero n0n-magical units to suffer from graduating from the Imperial Stormtrooper Marksman Academy (also known as the Stormtrooper Effect) when attacking the channler/heroes

Star Wars Hit Probability Equation: The probability of a bad guy hitting his target is equal to the inverse of all bad guys present plus the cube of the number of good guys present (plus one) plus the number of Jedi present (plus one) to the 10th power.

as a swashbuckling corsair, I object to your ninja equation!

YAR!

also, Lucasarts has been disapointing me recently.  Your... poem?...  about hit probability makes me want to cry.

Careful, or you'll accidentally summon Zyxpsilon the Inscrutable ;)

its from tv tropes, fun stuff to read

Also the list of good star wars games is very short indeed - most of them are from the 90's

Too true.

I am not sure about the conservation of awesomeness formula, though. I think it is more suited for fighting games than strategy. For example, Star Wars Empire At War used the Conservation of Awesomeness Formula(Stormtrooper Effect, Rebel Trooper Effect, Tie Fighter Effect, At-st Effect, and many others), and it did not work at all.

I'm familiar with the equation, though I do not understand it's implementation for this case.

please read the first post again then as it is stated quite clearly though I doubt it will be in the game in its pure form
