I changed my passowrd, but impulse tries to automatically log on using old password. i can't find anywhere to try to insert my new password.
open impulse and then click the orb in the top left corner, then click change login, enter your new password and then click login. Hope this helps 
Thanks for the tip. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling (this was before reading your post).
