Registration Help (Problem with Serial Number/Email)

Ok, this is getting really annoying. I'm trying to register Sins on impulse but it keeps saying that I don't have the right serial number or the right email address to register it, and I've tried it several times, each time checking to make sure I didn't type something in wrong, but it still won't work! I think I may have tried registering with this serial number a while ago, but the account was never allowed to be activated for some reason, and so I tried to make a new one and register it there today but it doesn't work! Gahh, any help whatsoever is MUCH appreciated.

I am having this exact same problem.

 

Is the freaking web service down?

 

EDIT:  More details.   I apparently have an account registered with this email, but it does not show that i own Sins of a Solar Empire.  (it is registered for Galactic Civilizations 1.)  When i type in the serial number from the BOX THAT I AM HOLDING, it says that this is not the right serial number for this email...   SO, the Question Is:  if there is no SoaSE key in my email, then why can i not put in the one on the box that i bought?  If there IS one in my email, then WHY CAN I NOT D/L A PATCH?  Only one of the above can be true, the other false.  Impulse and the website seem to think ... both of these are false.

Please help, because I believe that either someone is using valid keys out there in pirate databases ... OR ... your web service is failing in epic fashion.   Either one of these == fail in the long haul, especially in regards to my satisfaction as a customer who, up till this day, had been out there praising Stardock for their liberal policies re: noninvasive anti-piracy tactics.

Yes, I did and yet it still doesn't work! Gah, I can't even update the game or play online! This sucks.

I had this same problem when I picked it up recently. Did you use another email before with Stardock and then changed it? If so, use that email.

I did use another email before, slate, but the problem is is that I can't remeber what it was or even the password to it.

Contact Stardock Support then - you are trying to register an already registered copy. OF COURSE it won't let you....

OK, that may work for Mr. Wiggles.  But why is my SoaSE not listed under my ONLY email address ... yet galactic civ 1 is...?   I mean, if i already registered SoaSE, and that is the reason it's not working, it should show that i registered SoaSE in the same "see registered games" ... and i CAN access my account.

Please send an email to [email protected] with your serial number and any email addresses you may have used with us previously and we should be able to sort it all out for you.
